Hi all,
if you plan to upgrade from 7.00 / 7.01 to 7.3 you need to know that your old VC models won't run in the new environment. Therefore SAP offers a migration process:
Runtime migration does not entail any changes to existing models.
Design time migration exports your models from your old release and imports them into 7.3 using the migration tool included in VC. This process is not fully automated. You need to perform several steps manually. It is important to know that the services being used in every model (BAPI, query, whatever) need to have the same ports in 7.3 like in your old one.
