I have this problem:
2 users are using VC in the same environment:
user 1: everything works ok, has the VCRole and can create, deploy and execute VC app without problem.
user 2: has the VCRole but..."Portal connector: fetch error: bad or missing XML object" is display immediately when the storyboard is loaded, and the user can't compile.
The difference between user1 and user2 is that user2 doesn't have the role contentadmin. I read this documentation:
During installation, a predefined role u2013 VC Role u2013 is deployed in the portal as part of the initial Visual Composer content. This role has all the necessary permissions to allow a user to perform modeling tasks while working with Visual Composer Storyboard, such as create, develop, manage and deploy models to the portal. The role includes full permissions for the Visual Composer folder in the portal. Additionally, each user should be assigned read permissions in order to access data services located on the back-end system accessed through the portal. ( documentation)
So, the user2 just need to have access to VC NOT to the Content Admin.
I searched all over SDN and marketplace and can´t find the solution to make it work without the content admin Role ...
The test was in the same PC and SAP enviroment.
